Assassin's Creed developer Ubisoft plans to prop up its Montreal and Quebec City studios with a $370 million investment over the next seven years, which is expected to generate around 500 new jobs in the province. The investment is geared toward a consolidation of Ubisoft's online game infrastructure — including increased community management presence, interactive marketing development and monetization specialists — as well as expanding game development and production, namely through motion capture facilities.
